this morning room 27 lined up and walked to the whare fono  to learn the git up dance. we felt happy and excited because  we knew the song and wanted To learn the dance. First miss Gaston  turned on the tv and played the song for us and we danced and it was hard for me. We had to copy the man in the Tv showed us how to dance.

Immersion assembly

This morning the whole school went to the hall to have immersion assembly.imersion assembly happens on the first day of each term to show what each team is doing for inquiry that term. 

First we walked in and we sat down. I saw me Burt wearring  girl suit and a wig. Mr Somerville was on a motorbike. He was wearing a wig too. Mr Somerville rode his motorbike in the hall. And mr Burt and mr jacobsen Were trying to pretend to fish. And the assembly was funny!

team one made a movie called Cinderella. Cinderella  was cleaning the house she  wished that she could go to the ball. The teachers prentend  to be mean. They were pushing each other beacause they wanted the prince to choose one of them.

Cross country

Yesterday point England school had cross country on the field and reserve.  We have been training so hard for this all term. My house colour was green and it’s called hokulea. The boys race went first then the girls. I felt sleepy.

The Life Cycle of the Butterfly

The life cycle of the butterfly 

First the mother butterfly lays an egg on a plant this is called the egg stage. Next the tiny caterpillar inside chews it’s Way out then it eats it’s own egg shell the caterpillar is STARVING so it eats lots of food like leaves. This is called the larva stage. Next is the pupa stage. The caterpillar finds a strong branch where it will turn into a chrysalis. After 10 days a butterfly comes out.

Play dough maths

yesterday  me and My class made play dough. Miss Gaston brought the ingredients and we put the ingredients inside the bowl and we cut it in half. And we mixed the playdough And we learned about frachions.

Our garden

Team 2 has a beautiful fruit and vegetable garden outside room 27s door. We have all kinds of fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are good for you. fruits and vegetables makes you strong.

Making Chocolate Chip Cookies

On friday after moring tea our class made chocolate chip cookies in room 27. Ms Gaston wanted us to count to  how many chocolate chips were. Our cookies. And I got 7 choclate chips.

Pretzels

Yesterday ms Gaston  brought pretzels and we ate 5 pretzels and 10. Then we counted the pretzels it was yummy!

Sons of maafu

Maafu was a Tongan chief. He had two sons who were causing too. Much trouble on the island. They were throwing spears on the chief. Then the chief sent the sons away then the sons had to fight duck and a scary fish. And they were strong but they got sent away then  they turn into stars

Matariki day

We had special matariki day  and the whole school swapped classes  because it was matariki day. and they were mugs and we drew on the mugs and my teacher was miss McKinley finally we made cards

Batman has been Fighting  Harley Quinn  and he is gonna fight more bad guys. Now he feels tired so he is going to go to the cafe.  Now he is going to home to have a rest.

My best friend is jahzay because  she always plays with me at the field and we play tag and  we ma jokes.

April fools day

This morning ms Gaston played a trick on us and she put the grape on the easter wrapaper and I felt funny and we where sitting in a circle and ms Gaston put an Easter egg on my hand.

How to brush your teeth

First you need to  pick  your  toothbrush  next you put your toothpaste on the toothbrush  after that brush all your teeth and your tongue then spit out the toothpaste finally wash your toothbrpush.
